William R. Bachman, 76, of Lincoln University, died
Saturday, July 2, 2011, at his residence. He was the husband of Doris Wesolik
Bachman, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Margaret MacMullin
Bachman Thomas of Turnersville, NJ and the late Arthur J. Bachman.
Mr. Bachman was a Lab Technician at the DuPont Company in
Wilmington, retiring in 1990 after 40 years of service.
He was a member of Assumption BVM Church in West Grove, and
the Gloucester County Amateur Radio Club.
He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and he also enjoyed
Ham radio, gardening, and being with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two
daughters, Linda Bachman of West Grove, and Sandra Saracino and her husband
Robert of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; one sister, Sue Johnson of Wilmington, and two
granddaughters, Nicole and Danielle Saracino.
You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10-11
a.m. Thursday, July 7, at the Assumption BVM Church, 300 State Road, West Grove.
His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m.. Burial will be private.
