Shirley D. Martin, 72, of West Grove, died at her residence
Saturday, May 7. She was the wife of Fred H. Martin, wife whom she shared 49
years of marriage.
Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Franklin
and Amelia Bauer Dionne.
Shirley was a bus driver for the Unionville-Chadds Ford
School District, retiring in 2004, after 28 years of service.
She enjoyed travelling, cooking and watching the Food
channel on TV.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons,
Fred H. Martin, Jr. and his wife Margo of San Clemente, Calif. and Brian W.
Martin of Athens, Ala.; one grandson, Jacob P. Martin; three brothers, Charles,
Stanley and Franklin Dionne; three sisters, Joan Kimenski, Jane Restucci and
Patricia Grieco.

from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250
West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral service
will follow at 11a.m. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills.
