Joseph W. Manning III, 40, of Avondale, passed away while on a biking trip to St. George, Utah on Sunday, May 17.
He was a 1991 graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelors Degree and a 2000 graduate of Penn State University with a Masters Degree. He was employed by United Water of Delaware where he worked as a Water Quality Assurance Supervisor.
He is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Leo Manning; his children, Sydney Elizabeth and Josie Louise Manning. He is also survived by his parents, Harriett and Joseph Wall Manning, Jr. of Cherry Hill, N. J., a sister Leslie Marie Manning (husband Steven C. Mutterperl) of Freehold, N. J. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends.
Family and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 26 at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home located at 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, from 5 – 9 p.m.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at Hockessin United Methodist Church, 7250 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin Del. Interment will be at Union Hill Cemetery, immediately following the service.
