Vivian Steininger of Kennett Square

Vivian Steininger, 89, of Kennett Square, and formerly of Douglassville, died
January 21 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. She was the wife of Robert
Ammon Steininger, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter
of the late George and Edna Simmons Maines.

A homemaker, Vivian volunteered at the
Metropolitan Hospital in Springfield.

She was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Kennett Square and the Kennett Area Senior Center, and a former
member of the Sunshine Committee at various churches.

Vivian enjoyed square dancing and was
very active in the community.

In addition to her husband, she is
survived by three sons, Bill Steininger and wife Jackie of Evergreen Park, Il,
Paul Steininger and wife Diane of Aston, and Robert Steininger and wife Rosie
of Phoenixville; a daughter, Joyce Toscano and her partner Sharon of Kennett
Square; and by ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with Vivian’s
family and friends on Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kuzo &
Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square. Her
funeral service will follow at 11 am. Entombment will be in the Limerick Garden
of Memories in Limerick.
