An exciting summer event series in downtown Kennett Square will take place on Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 10 p.m. State Street will be closed from Broad to Center Streets on Third Thursday on State Street so visitors can enjoy outdoor dining, extended shopping hours, live music, strolling entertainers and children’s activities.  The Kennett YMCA, the Garage Community and Youth Center, and the Kennett library will set up activities during this family-friendly evening.  Parking is free in all areas of the parking garage after 5 p.m. This month’s Third Thursday  includes the music of the Good Foot Band (featuring Leon Spencer), The Rose Project, and Sin City Lite, along with the magic of Kevin Joyce.  The June event also features a beer garden with brews and food from Victory Brewing Company.
