As SEPTA phases in its new, modern fare payment and collection system – SEPTA Key – we want to assure seniors, age 65 years and older, that they will be able to continue to ride FREE at all times on SEPTA transit services (Regional Rails).

Pennsylvania residents, age 65 years or older, who possess either a SEPTA Key Pass or valid driver’s license, are automatically eligible to participate in SEPTA’s Seniors Ride FREE Program.

Senior riders who do not want to use their PA driver’s license or state-issued ID card can register and have their picture taken for the new, FREE SEPTA Key Senior ID Card.

I want to personally invite seniors over the age of 65 to my SEPTA Senior Pass event to secure your pass. The event will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the East Bradford Township Building on 666 Copeland School Road in West Chester.

Appointments are strongly encouraged and are made in five-minute increments. Please call my district office -Eric Roe-at (610) 388-3100 to RSVP.
