Join Natural Lands Trust staff at the ChesLen Preserve's Lenfest Center on Aug. 23 at 9:30 a.m. for a summer hike across the preserve, scenic paddle down Brandywine Creek, and cold popsicle treat at the end. The hike will lead to the canoe launch on the West Branch Brandywine Creek, where Northbrook Canoe Company will provide canoes, equipment, and instruction for our 1.5-hour canoe tour. Paddle at your own pace to experience the calm, scenic Brandywine. The trip ends at Northbrook Canoe Company, where we’ll enjoy lunch and popsicles before being shuttled back to the Lenfest Center. Participants may purchase lunch from Northbrook’s Food Shack, or bring your own. Popsicles will be provided and are included in the registration fee. Pre-registration required to reserve your spot.
