Everyone is invited to a Party and Dance, Saturday, September 29,

to celebrate 50 years of the Hadley Memorial Fund presenting free programs for the Kennett community. Everyone is invited! Come help the Hadley Fund celebrate 50 years with our party!   A Light Supper will be available for purchase from 6:30 - 7:30 pm and the free dance is 7:30 - 10:00 pm. Come to dance or just listen to the 60's music played by our DJ Del Bittle and maybe sing along? The Celebration will be at the Kennett Senior Center, 427 South Walnut Street,  Kennett Square, PA 19348.  Parking is easy at the Center and it is handicapped accessible.

The first Hadley program was October 29, 1962. It was Hal Holbrook presenting A Night with Mark Twain at the Kennett High School.  Since then there have been many well known musicians and performers.  Many of them did not become famous until after we had heard them here in Kennett Square!  To celebrate our 50 years we have programs this year giving the 50 year history of subjects like fashion and medicine.  Our first program, after the Dance, is on Disney.  See our web site www.hadleyfund.org for all of this year's programs or come to the dance and pick up a printed program!
