Cybersecurity: How Exposed Is Your Business to a Cyberattack? Thursday, November 1, 2018

Continental Breakfast 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. Program 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.

West Chester Golf and Country Club 111 W. Ashbridge Street West Chester, PA 19380

Large businesses have hardened their cyber defenses. Cyber criminals have grown more sophisticated and now focus on easier targets: organizations that do not have enterprisegrade IT departments.

It’s critical for small and mid-size businesses to understand the nature of modern cyberattacks and realize that antivirus software and firewalls alone will no longer keep their organizations safe. In today’s threat landscape, IT security is not exclusively the responsibility of IT professionals.

Please join us as we address different types of cybersecurity challenges in the workplace and offer insight into how to combat them through a layered defense that includes IT, training, and insurance.

Citing real-world examples, we will discuss:

• How modern cyber criminals access your data, money, and people • What traditional security measures are still required • What new security measures are now required to protect your business

• What to do when you suspect your business has suffered a cybersecurity breach • How to mitigate and contain your losses after a data incident

• The difference between what you think you know about your cybersecurity insurance coverage and what you should know • How to identify what your insurance policy does (or, in many instances, does not) cover • The moment you leave the room, what practical, actionable steps you should take to protect your business and your clients

Our speakers will be Erik Gudmundson, Vice President of Business Development with Pegasus Technologies, LLC, which provides IT services for organizations that do not have a full-time IT department, and Dennis B. LeVasseur, CIC, CRIS®, Senior Vice President with BMT Insurance Advisors.

The program will be hosted by Anthony J. Poluch, Jr., Senior Vice President with Bryn Mawr Trust, and Robert W. Eaddy, President of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company of Delaware.
