Good for Your Business: Why You Should Hire People with intellectual Disabilities
Please join your colleagues to learn about the benefits of hiring people with Intellectual Disabilities, both for your bottom line and for the day-to-day functioning of your business. Join us for a discussion of the County’s employment initiative with County Councilwoman Colleen Morrone, followed by a presentation of the financial benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
A local business that employs people with Intellectual disabilities will discuss the benefits this has brought to their business, to the employee and to the community. These presentations will be followed by job seekers’ “30 second commercials” highlighting why your business should hire them. The evening will round out with networking with Supported Employment Agency representatives, your colleagues and other members of the Employment Forum.
