“A Day of Promise” golf tournament sponsored by The UFinancial Group is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 13 at the Kennett Square Golf & Country Club with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. All proceeds raised will help fund Family Promise of Southern Chester County programs and services to assist local families experiencing homelessness. Family Promise helps families in crisis to rebuild their lives by providing emergency housing, food, and intensive social services.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Choice of individual and scramble format competition. Golf foursomes are $750 and individual golfers $200, which includes greens fee, cart, refreshments, golf contests, lunch, and dinner. Sponsorship packages ranging from $500-$3000 are available.
