Virginia  “Ginny” Tuel Griffith, 71, of
Kennett Square, died Sunday, Oct. 10, surrounded by her family and friends,
after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Robert H. Griffith, with whom
she shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, she was the
daughter of the late Owen and Emily Bird Tuel.

She was a Lab Technician at MGA in
Kennett Square, retiring in 1989.

Ginny was a member of the Unionville
Presbyterian Church, Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company, and was a 1958 graduate of
Unionville High School.

She enjoyed dining out, playing cards,
and watching the Phillies with her friend Peggy Simpson. She also enjoyed QVC
and talking on the phone with her friends and family, whom
she loved deeply.

In addition to her husband, she is
survived by one daughter, Karen M. Custis and her husband Gary of Lincoln
University; two grandsons, Mike Boris, Jason Griffth and his girlfriend
Christine; two step-grandsons, Justin Custis and Jeffrey Custis; two step-great
grandchildren, Kody and Hanna Custis of Florida; one great grandson, Gavin
Griffith who gave her many reasons to smile in the last 20 months; three
sisters, Margie Pellini, Patty and Kathy Tuel; two brothers, Larry and Tommy
Tuel sister-in-law Kay and all of her in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one brother,
Richard Tuel, Sister-in-law Helen Collins, brother-in-laws Charles Ham and Dave
Pellini and nephew John Pratt Collins.

Her smile and laughter will be deeply
missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you to cousin Jane Dunn
and also the nursing staff of the sixth floor at Christian Hospital and the
staff at Millcroft Nursing, for the care that they gave her.

You are invited to visit with her
family and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 and again from 10 to 11
a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State
Street, Kennett Square (phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral service will follow
at 11:00. Burial will be in the Unionville Cemetery.
