Media Barracks

• State police are investigating a report of a missing person. According to police, the father of a 30-year-old woman from Aston said his daughter, Casey Glatts, was missing and, he felt, was in danger. The incident was reported on Jan. 10. It was not mentioned where she was last seen. She was entered as missing in NCIC — National Crime Information Center — and the vehicle was entered as a BOLO — Be-On-Look-Out. Gattis was described in the report only as being white and non-Hispanic.

• On Dec. 10, two people reportedly stole $1,000 worth of clothing and merchandise from Lululemon in Concord Township. Police are investigating, the report said.

• DSW Shoes was the victim of shoplifting. State police from the Media barracks are investigating the theft of $236 worth of items stolen from the store in the Concord Town Center on Dec. 1.

Avondale Barracks

• No names were provided in the report, but state police from the Avondale barracks charged one driver with driving at an unsafe speed following a two-car crash on the Kennett-Oxford Bypass on Jan. 6 at 11:16 a.m. The report said the operator of a 2020 Mazda CX3 was in the left lane heading north when the driver lost control of the car and northbound on the highway, spun out, and struck a vehicle in the right lane.

• Police said Liam R. Tumely, 31, of Media, was cited after a one-vehicle crash in Kennett Township on Dec. 24. The accident happened on Bayard Road near Viburnum Drive at 11:47 p.m. According to the report, Tumely was driving north on Bayard when he attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve but was driving too fast, ran off the road, and struck a tree. The report also said he showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.

Kennett Square Police Department

Borough police said they arrested Christopher Riale, 50, on charges of terroristic threats, harassment, and simple assault. According to the report, Riale punched his brother in the face with a closed fist and said he was going to kill him and the whole family. He was taken into custody for that incident and for a warrant out of Cumberland County. The assault incident happened on Jan. 10.
