Media Barracks
• State police are investigating the theft of a 2022 black Dodge Charger that was parked on Thomas Speakman Drive in Concord Township on Dec. 18. According to the report, the vehicle was locked and a steel steering lock was in use.
• Police said they arrested a 22-year-old woman from Philadelphia on harassment charges in Chadds Ford Township on Dec. 10. The incident happened on Route 202 at 9:45 p.m. The woman was not named in the report, but police said she poked a man in the head during an argument.
• Michele M. Biordi, 43, of Wilmington, was cited for a faulty left turn that led to three people being transported for injuries, police said. Biordi was also suspected of being injured but was not transported, the report said. The accident happened on Route 202 at Oakland Road, shortly after 7 a.m. on Nov. 23. According to police, Biordi was traveling northbound on Wilmington West Chester Pike attempting to turn left onto Oakland Road. As she attempted to turn, another vehicle was southbound on 202 in the left lane. As both units entered the intersection, Biordi’s vehicle struck the other car head-on. This collision caused the second car to travel off the right side of the roadway and strike an electrical control box. The driver and two passengers of the other car were transported to Paoli Hospital by Riddle Advanced Life Support EMS.
• Police are investigating the theft of $325 worth of merchandise from DSW Shoes in the Concordville Town Centre on Dec. 1. Police said an unidentified fled on foot and left the scene before troopers arrived.
• Police said they arrested a 56-year-old man from Secane on Dec. 16 for stealing more than $100 worth of merchandise from Target in Concord Township on Dec. 16. The report didn’t include the suspect’s name.
Avondale Barracks
• Police said they arrested a 43-year-old woman from Chester for theft at Walmart in East Marlborough Township on Dec. 19. The report didn’t identify the woman, but said she deceived a cashier and filed an illegitimate return for cash.
• Colton J. Stephens, 24, of Gap, was cited for his involvement in a crash in Pennsbury Township on Dec. 19, police said. According to the report, Stephens was exiting a private driveway on W. Street Road before turning right onto the street but failed to clear all lanes of travel, pulling into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
• Police are investigating the theft of two catalytic converters that were removed from a box truck in the parking lot of the East Marlborough Walmart. The incident happened sometime between Dec. 17 and 19.
• Oliver W. Woolfolk, 49, of Wilmington was cited following a one-car crash on Lenape Road in Pocopson Township on Dec. 19, police said. According to the report, Woolfolk entered Lenape Road without clearance, went straight from the stop sign on Locust Grove Road, and struck a Verizon utility pole. The report also said Woolfolk had to be extricated from the car by Longwood Fire Department.
• Police said Elizabeth A. Kauffman, 28, of Kennett Square, was cited for driving too fast for conditions which led to a two-car crash on Unionville Road in East Marlborough Township on Dec. 16. According to the police report, both vehicles were traveling north on Unionville Road at its intersection with Corman Drive. Kauffman was behind another car that was stopped at the intersection, but was unable to stop before striking the other car, then went off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
