All are welcome, including staff, students, families, partners, and residents. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

About the study

“For years, members of our community have called attention to chronic concerns about the Middle School building and campus,” said UCFSD Superintendent John Sanville.

“Given those concerns, we are reviewing all relevant possibilities for improving them. As a first step, the School Board voted in June to approve a Feasibility Study with architectural firm Marotta/Main.”

After providing multiple opportunities for public engagement, the UCFSD School Board will vote in February 2025 on a recommendation to maintain, renovate, or replace the current middle school.

For now, no decisions have been made.

The final Community Conversation will be held on Monday, Dec. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the middle school.

The Feasibility Study Report and Recommendation will be presented to the Board at a special meeting on Monday, Jan. 6 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Patton in advance of a vote at the Feb. 18 regular board meeting. Additional information about the Middle School Feasibility Study is available on the UCFSD website or by contacting [email protected] anytime.
