Take a Holiday History Stroll with the Chester County History Center every Saturday in December. Costumed guides will take walkers to West Chester's early churches, department stores, and cultural sites, learning what the winter holidays meant to the people of West Chester from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. There will be a stop at the world-famous Eclat Chocolate (“Best Chocolates in America” by Bon Appetit in 2012) for a sweet treat. There will also be a discussion of the origins of Santa Claus and Kris Kringle, so if you have little ones who still enjoy the magic of the season, please exercise caution. Tickets are $20 and are available here.
