At the Brandywine River Museum of Art, a new display out front welcomes visitators to the museum for Brandywine Christmas. The wreath is there, as is traditional, but instead of the old Boy with Hawk, or its replacement, the Peacock, there’s a sleigh.

Thanksgiving is the traditional start of the winter holiday season. As such, it’s the start of some holiday traditions shown here in photos.

Brandywine River Museum of Art

Everybody loves the train display. This year’s display was lit differently. It was brighter and had a more open feel to the gallery.
Of course, some people also like the doll house. The museum is a good place to dream.

Olde Ridge Village

At Olde Ridge Village in Chadds Ford Township, Santa and Mrs. Claus set up outside Giggybites because they know that dogs deserve Christmas goodies, too.
Gotta have a reindeer.
