Police Log Nov. 22: Shoe thefts, drug possession

Police are investigating a reported burglary on Running Spring Lane in Concord Township. Police said the residents discovered the burglary at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16. The report didn’t mention what was taken.

Two women from Delaware were arrested for shoplifting an estimated $525 worth of shoes from DSW Shoes in Concord Township on Nov. 15. Police identified the two as Tasha Waters, 29, and Twani’que Benson, 22. According to the report, police were patrolling in the Concordville Town Centre when they observed the retail theft.

Police said they responded to the Enterprise car rental on Route 202 in Concord Township on Oct. 2 for an attempted car theft. According to the report, two unknown black men attempted to steal motor vehicles by taping the lockbox shut with a note directing customers to leave keys under the floormats of the respective vehicles.

Avondale Barracks

Police from the Avondale barracks are investigating the reported theft of $600 worth of shoes from Famous Footwear in East Marlborough Township on Nov. 8. No suspects were named in the report, but police said two women are being sought.

A 17-year-old boy from Chadds Ford was arrested for drug possession in East Marlborough Township on Oct. 18. Police said they were called to Unionville High School for a report of a student with a THC vape pen.
