Cheryl B. Snyder, 75 of Lewes, Del., formerly of Chadds Ford, died peacefully at home on June 21, surrounded by her daughter, Jennifer (Brown) Mellinger, son-in-law, Robb Mellinger, best friends, Jeanne Phillips and Pamela Jones, her adoring grand-dog, Allie and devoted dog, Button. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 29 years, George Snyder.

Cheryl loved the beach and all things natural. Particularly dear to her was the community and landscape of Fishing Creek, MD. Most of all she loved adventure, especially with her husband and best friend, George. Together they traveled the world, hunting, fishing, exploring, and creating lasting friendships along the way. Adventures with friends were also cherished by her, always providing memories of laughter and camaraderie. Her generosity and loving spirit will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
