PennDOT has announced the following road projects, which are weather-dependent and could affect residents in the greater Chadds Ford area during the week of Feb. 4 through Feb. 10. Motorists are urged to allow extra time if they are traveling through one of the construction zones.

• Soil boring will cause lane closures on Route 1 between Brinton Lake Road and State Farm Drive in Concord Township between Feb. 6 and 10.

• Sign signal and line painting will cause lane restrictions on Pocopson Road at Route 52 during the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Feb. 6 through Freb. 10.

• Utility installation will cause lane closures on Route 1 in Pennsbury Township between Elmwood Drive and Bowman Alley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the week of Feb. 7-14.

• There will be lane closures on Penn Green Road between Cooper and Starr roads in New Garden Township through Feb. 6. PECO is doing utility work.

• Green Valley Road, between Powell and Brandywine Creek roads, in Newlin Township, remains closed for bridge repair. Detours are posted.
