Cristian Freddy Santiago, 17, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of Freddy Santiago and Marisol Garcia-Nieves and her husband, Tony.
Cristian was a senior at Henderson High School, an avid skateboarder, and will always be remembered for being a genuine person with a big heart and as well as being a loyal friend.
In addition to his parents, Cristian is survived by his maternal grandparents, Idalia Capo, Rene Rodriguez and Juan Garcia; paternal grandparents, Esther Sara Santiago, Francisco Juan Santiago; siblings, Freddy Santiago, Jr., Gabriel Nieves; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay Street, West Chester, where the family will receive guests starting at 9 a.m.
Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery.
