Douglas W. Kowal, 52, of Downingtown, died Sunday, June 9, at the Brandywine Hospital.
Born in Wilmington, , was the son of Nicholas D. and Patricia Dilley Kowal of Kennett Square.
He served his country in the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Cody Kowal of Kennett Square; three sisters, Brenda Kowal of Aiken, S.C., Nicole Lynch and her husband Chris of Ft. Mills, S.C. and Patricia Maristch and her husband Daniel of Kennett Square; one niece, Patricia Mae Maristch.
He was predeceased in 1990 by one brother, Chuck Kowal.
You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, June 14, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. His funeral service will follow at 11. Burial will be in Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square.
