Ralph Joseph DiCarlo Sr.

 

Ralph Joseph DiCarlo Sr., 86 years, of Kennett Square, died Sunday, Jan. 27 at Linden Hall.

Ralph was a WW11 veteran, and a police officer in Kennett Square before spending many years working in the mushroom business as a grower and a wholesaler. He served on the Unionville High School Board and started the Unionville High School Football Boosters Program. He was an avid baseball and football fan. He was well loved by family and friends a like.

Ralph is survived by four sons; Mark, Drew, Raffaello and Franco; five granddaughters; Sasha, Athina, Caitlin, Kieran, and Giavanna; two grandsons; Drew and Ian; beloved daughter-in-laws Amanda and Dawn; and sister, Lucy DiCarlo Cozzone.

A viewing is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, and again on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at Saint Patrick’s Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, with burial immediately following in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
