Lorraine Lindecamp of Millsboro

Lorraine Lindecamp, 95, of Millsboro, formerly of West Grove, died Friday, Aug. 31, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was the wife of the late George L. Lindecamp Jr., who died in 1987, and with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Lewis Bell and Hazel Kirk Bell.

She was a seamstress at the West Grove Knitting Mill in West Grove, retiring in 1984.

Mrs. Lindecamp was a member of the West Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, doing cryptograms, needlework and watching the Phillies.

She is survived by one son, Robert D. Lindecamp and his partner, Gary Webb, of Fenwick Island; one daughter, Karen L Sloan and her husband Bill of Millsboro; one sister, Ruth Cummings of Chatham, Va.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lindecamp was predeceased by one son, George L. Lindecamp and one sister, Kathryn Savage.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9:00 to 10:30 on Wednesday morning, Sept. 5, at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road in West Grove (Phone:610-869-2685). Her funeral service will follow.  Burial will be in Faggs Manor Cemetery, Cochranville.

In memory of Mrs. Lindecamp, a contribution may be made to the West Grove United Methodist Church, 300 N. Guernsey Road, West Grove, PA 19390.
