Gary D. Annis, 56, of Landenberg, died Monday, August 13, at the Christiana Hospital in Newark. He was the husband of Maureen Annis, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.
Born in London, England, he was the son of the late Keith and Mary Annis.
Gary was a research chemist at DuPont Co., Stein-Haskell Labs in Newark, for the past 30 years.
He enjoyed gardening, airplane model building, car mechanics and photography.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kyle Annis and his wife Erin of Hummelstown, and Ryan Annis of Carrboro, N.C.; one daughter, Kimberly Annis of Landenberg; one brother, Clive Annis of Yardley, and one sister, Wendy Tammadge of Crawley, England.
His Memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, August 18, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. Burial will be private.
