Veronica Anne O’Connor, 74, of West Grove, died Wednesday, July 18, at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Delia Murphy O’Connor.
She was an administrative assistant at the Dewey Ballantine Co. in New York, N.Y. retiring in 2002.
Veronica was a member of the Assumption BVM Church in West Grove.
She was a people person who enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by three sisters, Julia McLoughlin of Tampa, Fla., Patricia O’Connor of Dublin, Ireland and Loretta O'Connor of Cork, Ireland; a great friend, Benito Tirado of West Grove and many nieces and nephews.
Veronica was predeceased by one sister, Mary McCormack and one brother, Thomas Dillon.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 23, at Assumption BVM Church, 300 State Road, West Grove. Her funeral service will follow.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. and burial in St John's Cemetery on Tuesday, July 24.
