Bertha Mae Bye, 87, of Avondale, died Monday, July 25,
at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford. She was the wife of Fred A. Bye, Jr.,
who died in 2005, and with whom she share 64 years of marriage.
Born in Clayton, she was the daughter of the William O. and
Ida Mae Hurd Hart
She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed baking, cooking,
gardening and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Faye A. Massey and her
husband Ben of Mt. Union,; one brother, Homer Hart of Newtown Square, , six
grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

a.m., Saturday, July 30, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State

Burial will be in Hockessin Friends Cemetery, 1310 Little Baltimore Road,
Hockessin.
