Janet N. Milliman, 82, of Kennett Square, formerly of
Newtown, Conn., died Thursday, July 7, at Linden Hall in Kennett Square. She was
the wife of Harry W. Milliman, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Hartford, Conn., she was the daughter of the late
Jack and Elena Christenson Nelson.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Towne and Country Garden Club and
the Horticulture Club in Newtown, Conn. She loved to travel. She was a calligrapher,
and did diplomas for Yale and Harvard Universities.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her
sister-in-law, Delores “Dee” Nelson of Kennett Square, and two nieces, Greta
Nelson of Irmo, S.C. and Sara Leff of Chadds Ford.
She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Nelson.
Services and burial will be private.
