Donald S. Conklin, 88, resident of
Jenner’s Pond Retirement Community, West Grove, died May 19 at Jennersville
Regional Hospital.
Don is survived by his devoted wife of
62 years, Jean Stanhope and their children, Gail Crawford, Roger Conklin and
Patricia Ihde, in addition a granddaughter and great-grandson. He is also
survived by his sister, Janet Kireker, but predeceased by brother, William
Allen Conklin.
After 37 years of employment with
DuPont, he and his wife enjoyed resort living in South Carolina for 15 years
then relocated to be near their children.
Visitation to be held from 10-11a.m., Friday,
May 27, followed by a memorial service at 11a.m. at Avondale Presbyterian
Church, where Don was an active member.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to Jenner’s Pond Benevolent Care Fund, 2000 Greenbriar Lane, West Grove,
PA 19390.
