Magic, Movies Music, and More!
Under the direction of Music Director Joseph Gehring, the Chesco Pops will perform their Halloween concert series at three locations in Chester County: Sunday, October 23, 3pm, Downingtown West High School, 445 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335; Saturday, October 29, 7pm, Bayard Rustin High School, 100 Shiloh Road, West Chester, PA 19382; Sunday, October 30, 3pm, Phoenixville Area Middle School, 1000 Purple Pride Parkway, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Ticket prices: Adult $20; Senior (65+) $15; children and students FREE; and a Special Offer – Bring a First-time Friend for FREE, which means purchase two tickets for the price of one at the door! Magic, Movies, Music and More! brings favorite spooky movies to life on stage with soundtracks from the films, and there will be magic performed by the maestro. You’ll hear music from the movie Star Trek into Darkness, plus Back to the Future by Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman’s Spiderman, as well as music from The Gladiator by Hans Zimmer, and from the animated film How to Train Your Dragon. Children are encouraged to come in costume, and participate in a Costume Parade which will take them up onto the stage to receive treats from the maestro!
