• Birmingham Township supervisors awarded the township’s 2019 road program to Innovative Construction Services. ICS was the lowest bidder of seven. The contract calls for spending $204,000.

• The township also hired a new part-time police officer. William Behrndt will be paid $19 per hour during training.

• The board made two other appointments Monday night. Christy Mobile is the new HARB secretary and will be paid $100 per meeting. And Brendan Murphy was appointed to the Planning Commission.
