The Journal of Insurance has reported that a fire in Maine destroyed paintings by both N. C. Wyeth and his grandson Jamie Wyeth. The fire happened last Wednesday night. Destroyed were original paintings and illustrations, along with books, photographs, and signed prints. The Maine Wyeth Art Gallery in Port Clyde, Maine where the items were stored.
