Darlington opens registration for summer art camps.

Darlington Arts Center is now accepting enrollment for its summer camps. The camps are geared for ages 3-14 and cover a variety of arts to get youngsters thinking creatively about the world around them and express themselves through the visual and performing arts. The Chadds Ford Historical Society is planning another drive-through event. This time it’s a Valentine’s Day drive-through bread sale on Saturday, Feb. 13. The sale is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bread will be made in the beehive oven at the John Chads House by Chadds Ford’s Lisë Taylor.

After-The-Bell will hold a virtual FUNdraising event that will shine a light on local talent, SHINE ON!. SHINE ON! will take place on Thursday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. and will be a live-streamed celebration of the talent and generosity of the people of Southern Chester County. This event allows us to combine the need for social distancing with our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on our local community. Rachel Kohl Library will participate in a Delaware County Libraries virtual tour of the Museum of the American Revolution. Take a virtual walk-through of the museum’s core galleries. Learn how soldiers, women, African Americans, Native Americans, children, and others experienced the Revolution’s tumultuous events through the stories and objects they left behind. This program is presented by the Museum of the American Revolution, not the libraries. Registration is required. You will receive a Zoom link in a reminder email the day before the program. The event is from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, and again on Feb. 24. Register here.

The Chester County Recorder of Deeds now offers the public online access to search for recorded documents dating back to the county’s founding. For the first time, land documents, including recorded deeds and mortgages, ranging from 1994 back to the 1600s, are available for public access digitally. The public can search and view all images for free, and the images can be printed or downloaded for $0.50 per page. People can access the records at https://searchiqs.com/pachs/.

The Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging is sponsoring the nationally recognized Diabetes Self-Management Program for those 60 and older who either have diabetes or care for someone with diabetes. This program will be held online, Fridays from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 19 and running through March 26. Program costs — including the book Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions” are covered by COSA so the program is free. Class size is limited, and registration is mandatory.
