Reenergizing a beloved annual event, the Delaware Art Museum will continue its tradition of a Winter Festival, this year situating it al fresco. DelArt invites the community to celebrate the season during a family-friendly market and entertainment event on the Museum grounds on Saturday, December 12 from 10 am to 4 p.m. The event is free for Members and $5 for nonmembers. To comply with social distancing guidelines, capacity is limited; therefore, reserved and timed tickets are required. Guests will be asked to wear masks unless seated and eating or drinking. A ticket also entitles the bearer to Museum admission that day. Guests can shop from regional artisans and local fine food and beverage purveyors, and listen to festive music performed by traveling carolers. In addition to the unique, high-quality wares DelArt has always presented, guests can shop for consumable fine foods and local beverages. We are aiming for a more ‘vintage holiday market’ feel than just pop-up shopping.” There will be outdoor heaters, but guests are also welcome to enter the Museum to warm up and visit the galleries and Museum Store for more unique gifts. After four successful educational sessions in 2020, Worship Summit Live 5 will be held to guide worship leaders and volunteers on the latest technical training for video production and live streaming services. On Thurs., Feb. 11, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Worship Summit Live virtual event will host church production and technology experts who will demonstrate the best methods to produce engaging worship celebrations for virtual and hybrid congregations. Attendees can view technical sessions at Worship Summit Live for free, as well as access a separate networking and collaboration meeting via Zoom for only $5. All registered attendees will have a chance to win a HuddleCamHD Pro IP webcam, valued at $549.
During these uncertain times, houses of worship have met the spiritual needs of their congregations in virtual settings. Worship Summit Live has become a popular event for worship leaders, musicians, volunteers, and administrators to gain practical knowledge to produce engaging live productions or video recordings of worship celebrations. The half-day event format will focus intently on technical topics, including a close look at the latest tools for online worship, how worship volunteers can use Open Broadcaster Software and ways that anyone can provide services with worship music, even non-musicians. Jake Gosselin, creator of Churchfront and Seth Haberman, known as the Digital Pastor, will be among the day’s speakers sharing their worship streaming tips. Ariel Viera, known as “Urbanist,” will be conducting live-streamed church tours from New York City. The Instructional technology learned during Worship Summit Live should continue to guide attendees whether worship gatherings are remote, in-person, or exist in a hybrid format.
PTZOptics, a manufacturer of robotic pan, tilt, zoom camera solutions for a variety of broadcast and live streaming applications, is hosting Worship Summit Live 5. The half-day schedule is available at: worshipsummit.live. The live stream is free, and anyone interested in networking within the collaborative Zoom meeting can purchase a pass at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/worship-summit-live-5-technical-training-event-tickets-135706585049. PTZOptics is the sister-company to HuddleCamHD, manufacturers of professional video conferencing cameras. An out-of-this-world adventure that’s perfect for the whole family, Galaxy Burger and Beyond is a pop-up fast food and science fiction experience in one FAN-tastic visit!
By popular demand, Galaxy Burger’s run at Springfield Mall is extended through Feb. 21! Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Sundays 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Our Valentine's Day VIP Special package includes your meal, two roses, a t-shirt, and a special dessert. Feb. 12-14 only! For complete ticket info, visit https://galaxyburgerandbeyond.ticketspice.com/galaxy-burger-pop-up-springfield.
As part of our extensive COVID-19 safety protocols, tickets are timed to every 30 minutes. Immediately after arrival, you’ll have 30 minutes to enjoy your pre-ordered meal in our restaurant. Imagine eating at the table where Han shot Greedo. Or have a burger under the galactic weapons display.
After your explorers fuel up, it’s time to blast off into our five adventure zones! You’ll have up to two hours to explore Q Bar, an 18-ft tall AT-AT, a 1:1 scale cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, a Star Trek Transporter replica, Iron Man's Hall of Armor and much more! There are plenty of photo opportunities, and cosplay attire is encouraged.
The fun continues after your tour has ended when you visit our partner vendors in the mall for additional goodies and discounts.
Each ticket purchased will be entered into a drawing conducted Feb. 21 to win a Star Wars helmet hand-painted especially for the event.* Tickets start at $47 for adults/$37 for kids ages 2-7 and include: choice of main dish, side, and a drink. VIP packages also available. Visit https://galaxyburgerpopup.com/menu to see all menu options. Children under 2 get in free with no meal provided (ticket required). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Eastern Pennsylvania Robotics Alliance.
