Friends Association is proud to announce A. Marinelli & Sons as the presenting sponsor of their fundraising event, the West Chester Charity Ball.
“A Night Under the Stars is an inspiring and fun-filled evening to raise funds for children and their families experiencing housing instability in our community,” said Jennifer Lopez, Executive Director of Friends Association. “Beyond their sponsorship, A. Marinelli & Sons have become family at Friends; they actively demonstrate compassion in action throughout the year. The committee, staff, board of directors, and many generous volunteers have been working hard to create this magical event that that allows us to continue to ensure a bright future for Friends Association children and families for years to come.”
In 2018, the Charity Ball’s fundraising efforts helped support 210 children from 92 families, a feat that would not have been possible without the generosity of sponsors and guests of last year’s Charity Ball.
“A. Marinelli & Sons is thrilled for the continued partnership with Friends Association and to share in this long-time event that is both rich with the tradition of Friends Association and uniquely Chester County,” Andrew Marinelli said.
“The lesson our parents taught us that if you have the ability to help someone you should” Anna Marinelli remarked, “we all need to remind ourselves that, as a community, it is really important to look out for one other- you never know what situation you may find yourself in someday.”
This year’s West Chester Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the West Chester Country Club. It marks the 31st year for the event.
Claudia Hutter and Pat Kimmel are serving as the 2019 Co-Chairs of the West Chester Charity Ball Committee.
The committee has chosen A Night Under the Stars as the theme for this year’s ball. The night will kick-off with a cocktail hour at 6:30 PM. Guests will then enjoy dinner and dancing with The Group Therapy Band.
The proceeds from West Chester Charity Ball, Friends Association’s largest fundraiser, have helped thousands of families during the past three decades. To purchase tickets, sponsorships or to donate to Friends Association directly contact Robin Meixner at [email protected].
