As the years went by, the Chadds Ford Days festival grew to include over 60 of the region's finest craftsmen and colonial demonstrators, Revolutionary War reenactors, an array of culinary fare from local restaurants, brewers and vintners, antique cars, children's activities, live music, special exhibits, historic tours of the John Chads House and so much more.
Admission is $10 for adults 18 and older; free for children under 17. CFHS members are free with membership card. Dogs are welcome too!

Background of HomeAID
Ten years ago several Chester County residents met informally Thto share their knowledge of the "new" AIDS crisis in Africa and to brainstorm possibilities for raising funds in this area toward the needs of women and orphans affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa. This was the birth of HomeAID for Africa, a local 501C3 that in these past 10 years has raised over $300,000 for those needs--all without rent, staff pay, or other overhead expenses.
This has been accomplished largely by production here of high quality crafts, sold at music festivals and other venues, but also of occasional special events.
