A BENEFIT FOR THE UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN CHESTER COUNTY
SUNDAY, JANUARY 27TH AT THE KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL 1PM to 3PM
We need your help as we prepare for our upcoming blood drive! There are still plenty of open appointment times!. Here are three easy ways you can help us meet our goal on January 29th, 2019 from 2-7 pm.
- If you haven’t scheduled your donation yet, sign up!
- Invite your spouse or significant other. Share the love as you share the lifesaving gift of blood together.
- Invite a friend to our drive. Donating blood is always more fun with a friend, so bring one along or in place of your donation.
We hold our blood drives in honor of Timothy "Timmy" Gaige. Timothy passed away on June 11, 2017 from complications of b cell lymphoma. He is survived by his wife MaryBeth Saunders Gaige and three beautiful children. His treatment included many blood products, most of which came from anonymous donors. His family is so thrilled that was an option, one which would not have been possible without donations at drives like this!
If you have any questions or concerns about donating blood, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Your donation means so much to The Gables at Chadds Ford and the American Red Cross. Patients in need count on drives like ours to provide a steady supply of blood. The need for blood is constant, and every donation makes a difference! Each donation can help save up to three lives, so by meeting our goal, we can touch numerous lives, both in our community and around the country.
Your commitment to our blood drive's success and The Gables at Chadds Ford are greatly appreciated! Let's get those appointment times filled up. Each person who donates receives an Amazon gift code and a coupon for a free medium Dunkin Donuts coffee and donut! You'll also receive a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert from us. The restaurant will also be open during the drive, so after you donate, come downstairs to grab a bite to eat!
