Free Screenings for Veterans at Bianco Family Chiropractic to Promote New Law @ Bianco Family Chiropractic
Aug 28 all-day

In late March, Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018, giving military veterans greater access to non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief through chiropractic care at more Veterans’ Affairs (VA) facilities throughout the country.

With the new measure in place, Chadds Ford-based chiropractor, Dr. Tom Bianco, is on a crusade to educate local veterans and their families about the benefits of chiropractic care, dispel concerns about treatment, and introduce them to the highly-specialized Gonstead technique.

“This legislation is a great start in continuing to care for those who served our nation,” said,” Dr Bianco. “Many of our veterans suffer from extreme back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions resulting from their service. However, there is reluctance in many to seek chiropractic treatment out of fear and misconceptions. Having used Gonstead for more than 25 years of practice, I have genuinely healed people who suffered debilitating pain and had no hope. I want to make a difference”

Now through August 31st, Dr, Thomas Bianco of Bianco Family Chiropractic is offering free individual evaluations, diagnostic X-rays, and personalized exercise regimens to get military heroes on their way to feeling good.

Currently, veterans have access to chiropractic services at more than 70 major VA treatment facilities in the United States, but nearly 100 VA sites offer little to no availability. This disparity comes at a time when the need for drug-free options for musculoskeletal conditions is urgent. VA data cites “diseases of the musculoskeletal system/connective system” such as back pain as the No. 1 ailment experienced by veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who access VA treatment. Moreover, surveys show that, like the civilian population, many veterans struggle with prescription painkiller (opioid) addiction.

“The Gonstead Technique is the gold standard of chiropractic care,” said Dr. Bianco. “It goes beyond what many chiropractors consider a spinal assessment. It is such a specialized approach that I am one of fourteen physicians in Pennsylvania with the credentials to practice it.”

For more information about Bianco Family Chiropractic or schedule a free consultation, call 484-840-9100 or visit biancofamilychiropractic.com .

 About Bianco Family Chiropractic

Established in 1996, Bianco Family Chiropractic tailors a chiropractic and wellness program specifically targeted to each patient’s needs, using the least invasive, yet highly-effective, techniques and services.

Founded by Dr. Thomas Bianco, the Chadds Ford-based practice is built on the principles and techniques of world-renowned chiropractor, Dr. Clarence S.Gonstead.

The Gonstead Technique goes beyond what many chiropractors consider a spinal assessment by conducting a thorough analysis of the spine using five criteria to detect the presence of the vertebral subluxation complex - visualization, instrumentation, static palpation, motion palpation, X-ray analysis.

Since its inception, Bianco Family Chiropractic has successfully restored the health and functionality of thousands of patients suffering with everything from stiff necks and aching backs to ruptured and extruded discs in the lumbar spine and much more.

LIVE AT THE FILLMORE: The Definitive Tribute To The Original Allman Brothers Band At Uptown! Knauer PAC @ Uptown! Knauer PAC
Jul 31 @ 20:00

The Top Allman Brothers Tribute Band Has Received National Acclaim For Their Appearance On AXS TV’s “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” & Has Been Named As A Featured Performer On The 2022 “Time Life Southern Rock Cruise”

LIVE AT THE FILLMORE (LATF): The Definitive Tribute To The Original Allman Brothers Band will be bringing the early music of the iconic Allman Brothers Band to the stage at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center (226 N. High St., West Chester, PA) this Saturday, July 31 at 8 PM.

Kicking off Uptown!’s tribute band series, LATF’s show will offer fans an exact reproduction of the live concert performances of the original Allman Brothers Band featuring Duane Allman, Dickey Betts and Berry Oakley. Musically and sonically, LATF recreates the experience of hearing one of the greatest live bands of all time as they sounded in 1969-1971. Particularly featured are the songs from the ABB’s monumental shows at Bill Graham's Fillmore East Auditorium in New York City in March and June of 1971 – when the members of LATF first heard the legendary band live.

"On June 26, 1971, I was at Fillmore East for the Saturday night late show, the last public concert at Fillmore East, the one the ABB band calls 'THE SHOW,' the one they feel is the greatest performance they ever gave. I've never heard them or any other band give a better performance before or since," said LATF Founder and Guitarist/Vocalist Lou Maresca.

LATF is the continuation of the band’s devotion to performing the music of the original Allman Brothers Band as it was performed in those early years before the untimely deaths of Duane and Berry Oakley and the departure of Dickey Betts. According to Maresca, “for me, those years were the ‘glory days’ of the Allman Brothers Band.”

LATF is the top ABB tribute band and has received countless accolades and rave reviews for their authenticity and musicianship. In fact, they’ve been named as a featured performer on next year’s “Time Life Southern Rock Cruise” and received national acclaim for their Spring 2017 performance on national TV as part of AXS TV’s “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.”

The LIVE AT THE FILLMORE (LATF): The Definitive Tribute To The Original Allman Brothers Band show kicks off Uptown’s tribute band series, which will also feature such esteemed bands as Echoes: The American Pink Floyd, Eaglemania, Back In Black: ACDC Tribute, Studio Two: Early Beatles Tribute and many more. America’s number one Frankie Valli tribute show, Let’s Hang On! is headlining at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center Saturday, September 18 at 8 PM to perform some of the best music of the 1960s.

As the premier Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons act, their show has grown to a full-blown stage production with four amazing performers and an energized four-piece band, performing such hits as “December 1963,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and many others.

By combining spot-on vocals and crisp choreography, Let’s Hang On! is renowned for preserving the sound, look, and style of Frankie Valli’s legendary band The Four Seasons. In addition to playing all the classics in The Four Seasons’ catalogue, they also pay homage to Jersey Boys on Broadway, the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning musical hit.

“Let’s Hang On!’s performances feature classic, nostalgic music that brings back fond memories for most people; often happier, and much easier times,” said April Evans, executive director of Uptown!. “We are all so excited for their upcoming show to transport us back to the golden age of the 60s.”

The Let’s Hang On! show is just one of many exciting performances scheduled for September at the Uptown! including KASHMIR: Tribute To Led Zeppelin (Sept. 24), and Into The Mystic: Tribute To Van Morrison (Sept. 30).
