Anthony Singing Songs of Sinatra, Since he was a child, Anthony has been surrounded by Sinatra's music and has developed a strong appreciation for his musical mastery. Growing up in Wilmington, Delaware, Anthony was infatuated with Sinatra and was inspired to play the saxaphone in school. He has always loved singing and entertaining, and he enjoys telling jokes with his inviting personality. Anthony's love of Sinatra and his music has only grown with age and has now inspired him to put together his Sinatra show.

The Barn Visitors Center & The John Chads House
In honor of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln's birthdays, the John Chads House will be open for tours. In 1777, General George Washington positioned his soldiers on the hillside next to the John Chads House, while a nervous widow Elizabeth Chads hid her silver spoons in her pocket.
Costumed Guides will lead tours of the little stone mansion that survived the Battle of Brandywine and tell about its fascinating history. Don't miss bread baking in the beehive oven in the cellar kitchen! Visitors can walk along the scenic one-mile River Trail from the Chads House to the Brandywine Museum.
Tours of the John Chads House are $5 for adults; members of the Chadds Ford Historical Society and children 12 and under are free. There will be many exhibits and special activities for children and adults at the Visitors Center, free of charge.

The Chadds Ford Historical Society opens its 2014 spring lecture series on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Ron Sloto of the U.S. Geological Survey will discuss “The Mines and Minerals of Chester County.” Ron is a geologist who’s worked at the Geological Survey for 40 years. Pennsylvania played a crucial role in the Industrial Revolution, being the only one of the original 13 colonies which had all the critical natural resources like coal, iron ore, petroleum and timber in abundance.
