Darlington Arts Center invites the community to the opening reception of “The Brandywine Valley,” an exhibition of oils and pastel originals by Garnet Valley artist Annette Alessi, and a book signing of “100 Artists of the Brandywine Valley” by author Catherine Quillman. This event is in its second year and we had such a blast last year, we decided to do one in July and August. A dozen bands will share two stages at the Turks Head Music Festival, a day-long celebration of regional music held at Everhart Park starting at 11am. Up to 90 artists set up booths throughout the park to sell their high quality arts and crafts. Local food vendors will keep everyone well-fed.
