Media Barracks
• Police are investigating a report of a stolen car. The victim, a resident of the Johnson Farm apartments on Route 202 in Concord Township told police that someone took his 2017 Blue Infinity Q60, bearing license number MRD8520. The victim said the car was stolen from the parking lot at the complex. Police are investigating.
• State police from the Media barracks are investigating the theft of a $100 camera from a residence on Johnson Farm Lane in Concord Township on Feb. 5. The victim, a 34-year-old woman, said the person who took the camera already had a key. The suspect wasn’t identified in the report.
• Police are also investigating a case of a washed check. The victim, a 60-year-old man from Chadds Ford Township reportedly told police that a check he had made out to the West Chester School District had been washed and deposited into an unknown bank account. Check washing involves erasing the details of a check and then rewriting it for fraudulent purposes.
• A Chadds Ford woman reported to police that she was the victim of wire fraud and lost $500. Police are investigating.
Avondale Barracks
• Christopher M. Wilson, 51, was cited for his involvement in a two-vehicle crash on E. Street Road — Route 926 — and Unionville Road in East Marlborough Township on March 11, a police report said. The driver of the other vehicle is believed to have sustained a minor injury, but she refused transportation. According to the police report, Wilson was departing the Land Hope Farms store at that location and attempted to turn left onto 926 and struck the second car that was heading west on 926.
• Police said Christina L. Burroughs, 50, of West Chester, was cited for failing to stop at a red light on Route 1 at Bayard Road and striking another vehicle. No injuries were reported in the Feb. 25 accident, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
• State police are investigating. Theft at the East Marlborough Township Walmart on Feb. 13. Someone stole a mattress valued at $192. A 2015 black Nissan Rogue is believed to be the vehicle used to flee.
• Nallely Lemus Camacho, 28, of Kennett Square, was arrested for DUI following a one-car crash on Marshall Bridge Road in Kennett Township on March 1, police said. According to the report, the 2:33 a.m. accident happened when Lemus Camacho struck a guard rail while turning left onto Kaolin Road.
