Effective Jan. 1, Pioneer Urgent Care, 1572 West Chester-Wilmington Pike in West Chester, is part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System.
Pioneer Urgent Care, which has been open since 2007, cares for more than 12,000 patients each year from the greater West Chester community, and throughout Chester County and Delaware County. The facility offers walk-in care for common illnesses and conditions, such as cold, flu, headaches, rashes and gastrointestinal issues; orthopedic injuries including fractures, sprains and strains; diagnostic testing, including lab work, X-rays and EKGs; physical exams; vaccinations; and free blood pressure checks.
The Center will retain its name. The physicians at the center will become members of the Crozer-Keystone Health Network, the health system’s employed physician network that totals more than 350 providers.
“Pioneer Urgent Care has established a strong reputation in the community for providing quality, patient-centered urgent care. We are proud to welcome them to the Crozer-Keystone family, and we are pleased to now offer urgent care as part of our comprehensive array of services,” says Patrick Gavin, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Crozer-Keystone Health System.
“We are thrilled to join the Crozer-Keystone Health System. The care that we provide to the people in our community will only be enhanced by our connection to such an established, well-regarded health system,” says Stuart Brilliant, M.D., medical director of Pioneer Urgent Care.
Pioneer Urgent Care is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
