KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. — The Kennett Brewfest, one of the region’s most popular craft beer festivals, returns this weekend with new features that promise to change the way visitors experience the event — and the weather could not be better. Forecasters predict sunshine and a high of 76 degrees, making it a perfect day for sampling craft brews outdoors.

For the first time in its history, Brewfest is offering Private Brewfest Cabanas — shaded, furnished 10×10 tents designed as personal “beer halls” for groups of up to eight. The cabanas give festivalgoers a reserved home base, complete with tables, chairs, and custom signage bearing their group’s name. Guests who reserve a cabana also enjoy early entry at 1 p.m., skip-the-line passes, and access to reserved restrooms.

“This is a game-changer for groups of friends, families, or even local businesses who want a more private, VIP-style experience,” organizers said. “It turns the Brewfest into an all-day hangout instead of just a walk-and-sip event.”

Each cabana costs $800 and must be paired with a valid General Admission or Connoisseur Session ticket. Limited numbers were released in July and are expected to sell out quickly.

Beyond the cabanas, the 2025 Kennett Brewfest will feature its usual crowd-pleasers: unlimited samples from 85 craft breweries, live music across multiple stages, and a lineup of food and artisan vendors that showcase the flavor of the region.

Other additions this year include:

  • Expanded Non-Alcoholic Options: Beyond traditional NA tickets, guests will find craft mocktails and non-alcoholic beer samples, making the festival more inclusive.

  • Bigger Connoisseur Session: Thirty-five breweries will pour rare and limited-edition beers during the early tasting, which also includes lunch and a “Best of Connoisseur” vote.

  • Community Spotlight: Organizers are placing more emphasis on the festival’s role as a fundraiser for Kennett Collaborative, which supports year-round programs like the Kennett Square Farmers Market, Third Thursdays, and the Holiday Light Parade.

The Kennett Brewfest has long been a sell-out event, drawing beer lovers from across the region to enjoy craft beer, local food, live music, and community spirit. With the addition of private cabanas, expanded NA offerings, and perfect fall weather, this year’s edition aims to be its most accessible and group-friendly yet.
