• Longwood Gardens is holding a free online presentation, From Miniature Masterpieces to Majestic Giants: Trees at Longwood Gardens on Wednesday, June 25, at 12:30 p.m. Celebrate and explore the remarkable world of trees and their care along with a team of Longwood experts specializing in bonsai, management, and more. Our panelists highlight the extraordinary variety of trees on our grounds, share insights into the importance of curated collections, and tell their stories about this important form of life. The event is free, but registration is required.
• Concord Township’s next movie night is Friday, June 27. The film will be “The Wizard of Oz.” Set up is 7 p.m. and the film begins at dusk.

• The Chester County History Center will host a genealogy event, The Lida A. Wright Genealogy Series: Chester County Cemeteries, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. this Saturday, June 21. The speaker will be Jonathan Hoppe, a Chester County historian and former librarian and archivist. He has studied and documented local and regional cemeteries for over 20 years. • On Friday, July 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Mt. Cuba Center will host students and staff from the Christina Cultural Arts Center showcasing their talents. Dance to the beat of your own drum and express yourself with family-friendly activities as you unwind from the week and enjoy a variety of live dance, voice, and musical performances.
