• This Saturday, June 14 is Enchanted Summer Day at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy musical entertainment by Silly Joe and Mary Roth, storytelling by Terry Colonna, magician Chris Fabiano, and the Give & Take Jugglers. Children can play Graces, a 19th-century game of skill, along with hoop rolling and ring toss, and much more. Burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks for purchase. The drop-in program is free to members and included with general admission for visitors.
• Dave Kelleher of David Dodge in Chadds Ford is holding a job fair at his car dealership on Route 202 from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17. Keleher said his dealership needs new people. He’s looking to hire salespeople, technicians, and detail people, no experience necessary.

• Tickets are now on sale for Chester County History Center’s celebration of the Marquis de Lafayette. Lafayette’s Ball is Saturday, July 26, at the history center, 225 N. High. Street in West Chester. It starts at 6 p.m. From sampling recipes from the past to hearing the dulcet tones of a 19th-century harpsichord, guests will enjoy a full-sensory historic experience that honors not just the Marquis de Lafayette’s influence on our nation but Chester County’s place within that story. Tickets are $75 and are available here.
• The community is invited to join in a celebration of freedom and unity at the Juneteenth Jubilee on Thursday, June 19, from 5–9 p.m. along State Street in Kennett Square. The Juneteenth Jubilee honors the historical significance of June 19, 1865—the day when the last enslaved African Americans in the U.S. finally learned of their freedom—and celebrates Black culture, resilience, and achievement through a dynamic and inclusive program.

• The Brandywine Museum of Art is less than two weeks away from opening a new exhibit, Andrew Wyeth at Kuerner Farm: The Eye of the Earth. It runs from June 22 to Sept. 28. The exhibit brings together some of the artist’s most iconic works featuring the landscape, buildings, and inhabitants of Kuerner Farm in Chadds Ford. The farm is now a National Historic Landmark. It inspired nearly 1,000 artworks by Andrew Wyeth in a wide variety of genres and media. Andrew Wyeth at Kuerner Farm is the first focused exhibition on this defining subject, surveying the artist’s sustained engagement with the site over seven decades.

• June 28 is the next Science Saturday at Hagley Museum. Learn about the summer solstice and why we have different amounts of daylight throughout the year. Create your own model of the sun and Earth. This is a drop-in activity; feel free to join the fun at any time. Activities are included in admission and are free for Hagley members. Science Saturday runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
