Media Barracks

State police said they arrested a 41-year-old man from West Chester for shoplifting at Wegmans on Oct. 21. The suspect was not identified in the report. According to police, the store employees said the suspect passed all points of sale with a cart full of unpaid merchandise valued at $124.73. The actor was taken into custody and a search incident to arrest discovered an opened suboxone package for which the actor did not have a valid prescription. The investigation is continuing.

Avondale Barracks

• Police said they arrested two women from Wilmington — not identified in the report — for shoplifting at ULTA Beauty in East Marlborough on Nov. 26. No details about what was stolen were released in the report.

• State troopers from the Avondale barracks are investigating a theft at ULTA Beauty in East Marlborough Township on Nov. 2. The report said the store manager told police that three people, two men and one woman, stole more than $600 worth of perfume.

• Police said they arrested an individual for DUI and drug possession in Pennsbury Township at 4:07 a.m. on Dec. 1. No other details were released, and the suspect was not identified by name, municipality, or gender.

Kennett Square Police Department

Borough police said Cesar Sanchez was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and other related offenses following an investigation into a June 9 incident. On that date, according to a Dec. 9 report, police responded to an EMS call about a man — Sanchez — bleeding from a cut on his arm. The cut was determined to have been caused approximately one hour prior, but he did not provide details. After further investigation, police said, it was determined that Sanchez was an assailant in an incident at about 11:30 a.m. on June 9.
