Media Barracks
• An Uber driver was arrested for theft of services while picking up an order at Koy Restaurant in Concord Township. Police didn’t identify the driver in the report, but described only as a 27-year-old from Bear, Del. According to police, the man went to the restaurant to pick up an order and, while waiting, ordered something for himself but left without paying.
• Police said Shifreya Davis, 22, of Claymont, was arrested for DUI in Chadds Ford Township on Dec. 20. According to the report, Davis was arrested after a traffic stop on Marshall Road. No reason for the stop was given in the report, but she was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Avondale Barracks
• Police said Joseph W. Peticca, 35, of Linwood, was cited for following too closely and striking another vehicle on Route 1 at Fairville Road in Pennsbury Township. The accident happened at 7:40 a.m. on Feb. 8.
• Alejandro Sanchez Peña, 19, of Coatesville, was cited for driving too fast after the 2021 GMC Sierra he was driving ran off Newark Road. The report said Sanchez Peña failed to negotiate an S curve, went down a hill and struck a tree. The driver and his two passengers were unhurt. The accident happened on Feb. 11 at 10:25 p.m.
• State police are investigating a case of stolen airline miles totaling $3,246. The report said two people unknown to the victim — a Pennsbury Township resident — each used 55,000 from his American Airlines account.
• Police said they arrested a 34-year-old man from Philadelphia following a domestic dispute at a residence in Pennsbury Township on Jan. 19. Arriving at the scene, police said they observed visible injuries to the victim, and that the suspect had fled. The report didn’t identify the suspect but said footprints in the snow-covered ground led them to where he was hiding in a bush.
• On Feb. 6, an 18-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at the East Marlborough Township Walmart. She had concealed $12 worth of cosmetics and walked past all points of sale.
• A report of a burglar alarm led to a business being issued a non-traffic citation. Police said there had been three false alarms within 12 months at the location.
