The Branndywine Railroad rolls back into town on Nov. 18.

All aboard. A holiday favorite since 1972, the Brandywine Railroad features trains running on 2,000 feet of track and contains more than 1,000 pieces, including locomotives, passenger and freight trains, and trolleys that pass through a small village, a farm, factories, a drive-in movie theater, and even a carnival. And it’s returning to the Brandywine River Museum of Art on Saturday, Nov. 18.

High school students and parents, take the next step in your college search process and learn more about Immaculata, including undergraduate academic programs, financial aid, athletics, and admissions requirements. Mt. Cuba is ready to close for the season. The last day for 2023 is Sunday, Nov. 19.

Soak in the beauty of fall before Mt. Cuba closes for the season on Sunday, Nov. 19. Enjoy the golden meadows, and serene ponds, or explore the hiking trails in our natural lands. Don’t forget that even when the gardens are closed, you can still take classes at Mt. Cuba. Get a jump on holiday décor with one of our fall or winter art classes and show off your new creation. November hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Unionville High. School’s 47th Art Gala is set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18. Works from professional artists and students will be on display for sale. Funds raised will benefit the UHS PTO, contributing to Educational Enrichment Projects to enhance the overall educational experience for all UHS students, and will also help make local community outreach efforts possible.

The annual Artisan Show at CCarts is Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 128 and 19.

The Center for the Creative Arts presents its 42nd annual Artisan Show sponsored by Mallard Financial on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and again on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The $5 fee grants you admission for both days.
