The Unionville High School Art Gala is this weekend and UHS senior Elissa Stoop has been selected as the 2022 Senior Student Featured Artist. Local artist and Student Art Show Committee member Sarah Snyder-Dinsel said, “I am constantly amazed at the high caliber of artwork created by UHS students. It is such a pleasure to view their pieces, and our selection of one senior artist is never an easy one.”
Elissa’s art will be featured at the UHS Art Department Student Art Show to be held in conjunction with the Unionville Art Gala on Nov. 11 and 12 at Unionville High School. Also on display will be artworks by other UHS art students, as well as hundreds of pieces by local artists for purchase as part of the Unionville Art Gala fundraiser.
The community is encouraged to attend. Visitors to the show will enjoy live music and light refreshments and will have the opportunity to purchase local art at the Unionville Art Gala, or view and bid on items offered in the Silent Auction.
