The following animals are ready to be adopted from the Brandywine Valley SPCA in West Chester.

Carlisle
Playful, dapper, and curious Carlisle is so thankful to have been rescued from Hurricane Ida's path and given a second chance at a loving family. He is sure to add just the right amount of fun and friskiness to his new home. You can adopt Carlisle for a fee you name through Sunday, Sept. 12.

Pooch
It would be easy to mistake Pooch's big ears for wings with how social this butterfly is. She plays well with every dog in the play yard, and while not required, she would love a doggy sibling. Pooch is a peach when meeting new people, gentle with kiddos, and has successfully cohabitated with cats. Despite her rather large ears, Pooch does have a slight hearing impairment, but she doesn't let it slow her down. She'd just ask that her new family is patient with her as she learns, as training can look a bit different for a pup who can't hear as well. Pooch is looking forward to being your family's missing piece. You can adopt Pooch for a fee you name through Sunday, Sept. 12.
